Magical Miles - Automatic Mileage Log and Auto Mile Tracker for Tracking Every Deduction and Expense App Reviews

I purchased the pro as I really liked what I was in the app. however, I had to stop using it as it caused a HUGE drain on battery life. It accounted for 70% battery usage in the 1st 8 hours I used it on my device (you can check this in iOS settings> battery > battery usage section). Ive used MileIQ for about a year now and have to go back to them. This just doesnt work for me due to the battery usage issues. Fix that, and itll be much better.

The app is simple to use and it is nice to have it working when you need it. I like that it allows for attaching other expenses. It sends me a notification every day if I dont use it. Every day. This is a bit excessive.

Love the app, the new updated version does tracked all my trips very well, no trip is missing and does not randomly track when I roam around the house like the older version. :))

Ive tried most of them and Magical Miles is the best one around. Only one change would make it 5 stars it wouldnt quit automatically after 2 days. You have to make sure its open before you drive somewhere to make sure your trip is logged. Of course, you can manually add it later worst case scenario, but who whats to have to think about it and remember addresses? Despite that small concern its the best one around!

It not only "just works", this app does it with confidence and simplicity. You can tell a lot of thought has gone into this, because it is so easy to use.

Log miles when it feels like it. Please fix. Used to work so seemlessly!

I love this APP, it works very well and does not drain your battery. Yo dont have to do anything, the app starts only when you move enough and it log you trip. The export of your logs is easy to do, Im a sales rep so it saves me a lot of time and it give me an accurate report whenever i need it.

I dont even have to start it. It reminds me that is working.

Ive been waiting a long time for a mileage logging app to use the motion coprocessor. This app is also beautiful and easy to use. Well done!

Wow at last Just load it and keep it in your pocket - it does the rest even lets you know when the trip is done so that you can make notes !

I tried many mileage logs app, I must say that this one is THE best and I will stick to it. No need to worry about logging, it does it all. And it reminds you everytime : "Hey! I logged this for you while you were driving". It would be nice to be able to edit the address and add the odometer at some point. But other then that, totally worth the 5.79$.

I was pleasantly surprised to find out that this app actually does do a good job of automatically tracking mileage for you. Solid app with a good GUI. Its not always perfect, but still a far better option than other tracking apps Ive used.

The best option for recording business trips. I tried all other apps. This is the best.

App drains my iPhone 6 battery, even when not active. When not even in use, it uses data at an alarming rate. I have exceeded my quota two months in a row even though the app wasn’t running. As soon as I remove the app altogether, my battery usage improved and don’t use my data. This is a wasteful app.

Great idea, but it logs trips when Im sitting at my desk, or walk to another room. MileIQ is the same idea but works much better...and doesnt need to be running to capture milage...but its too expensive.

Best app so far after trying over 12 mileage log app - would love to see some more features like roundtrip and favorites also would be great if it access the google calendar.

Great for the busy executive that wants to easily track mileage without having to think. Requests: "personal mode / schedule" (ie weekends default miles to personal). Quick notes: add notes to a range of trips from one screen. Ability to add optional odometer reading. Merge trips. Sometimes when you are going to meet a client (for example) it can create 4-6 trips including lunch, etc. When that entire "trip" really just needs one entry with notes / expenses. Thanks guys!

This app is ok, after paying extra for unlimited entries. I like that it tracks your movement. I just wish it was easier to manually enter trips (and make them round trips with one tap instead of having to enter it twice). Sometimes it freezes when "logging" new trips, but overall not bad.
